Fetal Growth and Wellbeing Scan
2D Scan
From 24 weeks onwards
This scan is used to verify the fetal growth. It is particularly helpful in conditions of maternal and fetal disease. i.e. Intra uterine fetal growth restriction as it occurs in pre eclampsia, maternal hypertension renal disease etc... It is also helpful in twin’s pregnancy.
This scan includes the presentation of your baby, listening to baby’s heart beat, and position of placenta, placental blood flow, and estimated weight of your baby as well as a predicted birth weight.
