This includes: Consultation & History, Lower abdominal and pelvic ultrasound scan & Vaginal examination as indicated by the history. This comprehensive scan package includes 2D, 3D & 4D scan mode. All your questioned answered and a full explanation of your scan is provided.The appointment is for one hour, hover the actual scan is between 20- 30 minutes. You the scan result on the day but the written formal report will be sent to you in due course. Please bring all medical notes related to your current episode if available. | Trans- Labial Ultrasound Scan, TLUS This package is designed to locate and visualise the Mesh, Sling or Vaginal Tapes. This may be a TVT (Trans-vaginal Tape), TOT (Trans - Obturator Tape), Recto -Sacropexy or Colpo- Sacropexy. This may be have used for the treatment of utero- vaginal prolapse or the treatment of genuine urinary stress incontinence in women. The package including Consultation, TLUS, Trans- vaginal scan, TVS, as well Gynaecological vaginal examination to exclude the extrusion of the mesh into the inside of vagina if history suggests. | Screening For Pre-Eclampsia This is a simple ultrasound scan using the Doppler techniques applied to the uterine artery in early pregnancy. It predicts the mother who may later develop pre-ecalmpsia in the current pregnancy. This enables them to be referred to hospital for advice and possible treatment early if required. |
